Our Family trees are not freely available online. However, you will be able to SEARCH our website as there are many RECORDS and ARTICLES that are filled with information that may help you.

If you are researching your Filby ancestors we may be able to help build on your family tree with data from our files and in turn you could share additional information with us.

MEMBERSHIP We did not charge subscriptions for membership although we were very grateful to receive any donations to help with our running costs and the support of All Saints Church at the village of Filby. In return we distributed via email, the Chronicle, which has been an annual publication one way or another since 1968. This kept our worldwide membership fully informed. However, in 2018 due to lack of financial support the Membership element ceased and the final Chronicle was distributed, but this website will continue for contact and help where possible. We also reviewed our 'charitable status' and discontinued holding an annual AGM.

We still welcome receipt of any family tree information that you are willing to share with us and will offer data from our files in return. Our family trees are copyright and as such are not published in full on this website. We politely request that any shared are not uploaded onto other genealogy websites.

RESEARCH Our researchers give their services on a voluntary basis. You will find easy access to some of our research results and archive material on this website for which we do not charge, but a small donation would be most appreciated as this will enable us to further our research. We take privacy very seriously and do not share anything without permission being granted unless it is in the Public Domain.
